This video is a chapter from C.S. Lewis’ book Mere Christianity. It is one of the better expositions of the pride that I have found. It originated from a 1942 radio broadcast. The “pride of life” is a phrase used in the King James Version of the Bible’s New Testament and has non-obvious connotations because of its phrasing. This video focuses on pride more than the pride of life.
