RELYING ON GOD’S STRENGTH FOR WHOLENESS

Jesus Christ’s relationship and teachings of the “world” are not what we normally understand it to be.  Christians have used the phrase “I am in the world but not of the world” but this website carefully examines the subtle and spiritual relationship that followers of Jesus’ teachings and graciously guided by the Holy Spirit, not those who either glibly or vehemently identify as “Christians” nor church members, have with the “world.” Through New Testament scripture we can understand what is that subtle, enlivened and complex relationship to the world is as we embrace Jesus’ teachings.

To do this we have to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Culture is one of the two or three most complicated words in the English Language (Raymond Williams, Keywords: A Vocabulary of Culture and Society, Revised Edition, 1983, p.87).
