DEVELOPING A SPIRITUALITY BASED ON JESUS’ TEACHINGS

RELYING ON GOD’S STRENGTH FOR WHOLENESS

Jesus Christ’s and His Apostle’s articulate their experience with the “world” and it is not what we normally understand it to be. Here, we carefully examine to the highest and best of human and spiritual abilities, guided by wisdom and/of the Holy Spirit, to understand these subtle, spiritual truths for their consequences are grave and eternal.

I/we are not an organization, a movement per se, but individual(s) who have conscious contact, fellowship with God on a deeply personal level seeking to share peace, mercy, love of what has been freely given to me/us.

In my past, like the average self-identifying Christian, often used the phrase “I am in the world but not of the world” with good intentions but glibly, with a simple understanding of its meaning. This phenomenon wasn’t a source for my spirituality to go further up and further in.

To do this we have to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Understand culture, one of the two or three most complicated words in the English Language (Raymond Williams, Keywords: A Vocabulary of Culture and Society, Revised Edition, 1983, p.87).

Let not sin reign in your mortal body, to obey its passions (Romans 6:12).
